To Your Success,

shilpan,
I felt like you were talking directly to me, procrastination is my Achilles heal. And man, have I avoided opening the mail or answering the phone because of my inaction. And yes, when stressed, I have been agressive instead of being assertive.
Thank you for reminding me the things that I need to do in order to minimize stress in my life.
Chris’s last blog post..Depression or Angst
An extra potent post, that one. And congrats on another guest spot.
Now, my latest post is in some contrast to Chris’s above (laughs)

Thank you for confirming my thoughts on this article. Hmmm… I can see your latest post - “Depression or Angst”, I’m off to check that out.
@Davidya -
Good point about your post in contrast with Chris’s. It will be a brain spin to read both back to back.

Nice work my friend!

Nice succint post.
It reminds me that it’s better to bend than break (choose a willow way of life, over oak, and roll w/the punches)
The secret of stress is to distinguish anxiety and rewrite the stories you tell yourself. Stress is your body’s reaction. Anxiety is your mind’s reaction to your stress. Unfortunatley, we learn anxiety patterns when we’re young and unskilled — and it can be tough to unlearn them. Once I realized this distinction, I turn my stress into action and produce more results than I can when I’m unstressed, and I avoid the needless drain of anxiety.

Congrats my friend, on your guest posts on both DumbLittleMan and here at the ChangeBlog. It’s very good that you are getting all this extra exposure.
I liked the article as well…one of the good things you did is shown signs first, and steps later, which kind of related everything much closer.
Sorry I dissapeared, I just had a few things to take care of, and am pretty much back now..so call me your loyal reader.
@JD,
Excellent distinction. I think you’ve hit nail in the head with this clear yet effective analysis of stress and how to cope with it.
@Alex,
Great to hear my friend. I was worried about you but now I’m glad that you’re back. I look forward to seeing you often now.
Thanks

Shilpan,
That was another great guest post. It was applicable to most everyone, and your ideas to eliminate stress were superb.
I especially like the eliminating clutter one. Reminds me of Feng Shui.
