You can achieve eternal happiness if you learn to letting go of emotions that tend to drain your mind, body and soul. Often emotional despair is far brutal in aggression than its physical counterpart. Emotions tend to influence who you become as a person. Question often comes to our mind as to what controls this behavior of emotional trauma ? answer is simple but astounding in its impact. If you learn to detach emotions from a desired outcome in your mind, if you steadfastly believe in the power of nature to bring the outcome that may not match your mental depiction, you become a fearless, purpose driven being with innate faith in the pursuit of the dreams without a self centric result.
Most of our life revolves around dramatic emotions that captivate our imagination of happy and secure life. Ironically, happiness and security are not earthly objects but rather are thoughts that we cultivate within. How many times have you thought “oh, only if I have more money, I would have been happy”. More money is an abstract imagination that keeps our mind attached to an outcome. It may be hard to believe but you can live happy, secure life with the money that you earn today if you start removing metal attachments to the outcome. Mental attachment creates attachment to the past. The past is painful, past creates life inertia. Attachment to an outcome creates self-pity and low self esteem that constantly drains happiness out of your life. Instead when you detach your mind from a self set outcome and instill deep faith in the action that you undertake, you receive power from the universe. You tend to ignore false inertia set by the fear and before you know, you tend to swim with the tide.
If you start believe that when things do not go the way you expect it to be, the power that created this universe has better outcome that is invisible to you. Keep your faith in it faith and you will feel your mind immersed in the ocean of happiness that never leaves your body no matter what direction you sail. If you letting go ego that controls your perception, you will be an open, kind, warm hearted person who can appreciate and understand power of cosmos and be thankful about living everyday on this earth a happy and healthy life.
Letting go of emotions also requires attitude of gratitude and forgiveness. All of us have come across pains in our life. All of us have made mistakes but if we start to forgive us and others for the mistakes and focus more on the future than we collectively shape a happy, hopeful world. No one can change what happened but we all can change how we react to it. We have control over how to cope with the difficult situation. If we kick ourselves in the midst of pain, we are inflicting emotional wound on ourselves. Our emotions tend to condition our mind and ultimately our subconscious mind to start acting in certain way. Choose to have faith and be happy with whatever life brings you. This does not mean that you become a reckless and least focused on your passion or dream. It simply means that you pursue your passion and dream without expecting any perceived rewards. Another way to look at this is simply thinking of any charity work that you love to engage with. When you are engaged in a charity work, you detach your mind from any outcome. You are not thinking of either monetary or positional gain and this drives you with happy, fulfilling emotions.
A survey of longevity revealed that most people living long life tend to have high self esteem and happiness in their lives due to the fact that they engage in activities that they love without seeking for any self centric outcome. Everyday engage yourself with few activities that you consider benevolent. You will find these activities as powerful for your mind as physical exercise for your body. You will find a new you that has purpose and faith in the future, who is happy not because outcome always matches his perception but rather perception that adapts to the outcome.
